Callaway Golf is well known for its golf club restoration programs.  At this place, one can get customized as well as refurbished equipment under a special program.  The program prides itself in turning several thousands of equipment into useful tools once again, to the amazement and delight of their owners.  Since the clubs are turned into immaculate pieces within no time, most people have begun to value this service and word has been spreading.  The program has become the only hope for golf equipment which would otherwise only find their place in garages and in the memory of their owners.

It is amazing how such news that used golf clubs can be given a new lease of life is spreading like wildfire.  Needless to say, it has come as a huge relief to those who would find it more costly to dig into their bank accounts to buy brand new equipment. The Callaway’s refurbishing department has managed to restore thousands of golf clubs and still manages to offer their players the best grip options to compete with new ones.  They do it by buffing and polishing the sole and toe of the club.   They also carry out the re-painting and scoring lines, refinishing the surfaces to make them look and feel as good as new.  This is no mean feat; but they want the players to have the best, so they make them an offer that includes a total of up to 17 grips.

How does this program work at Callaway Golf?

(1) Adding Customization or Refurbishment Service to the Order:

This means that a customer is allowed to request for additional customization or refurbishment services before they get to finalize the purchase.  This is only available on some selected products.  The orders can easily be placed on specified Callaway Golf irons as well as on wedges.  The orders are normally shipped promptly, within two days from the day of order.  The rule is always that all orders like these must be placed by phone and it includes those for customization as well.

(2) Customization or Refurbishment of Existing Equipment:

These services are offers to help improve the playability and the appearance of the players’ existing equipment.  The list of all the Callaway equipment that can warrant refurbishment are given to the players, with most services able to be finished in a matter of days. The schedules for customization or even for refurbishment can be on request to the club representatives.   

There are limitations sections that will show which clubs are not legible for repairs or which simply cannot be handled using the standard refurbishing methods.  There are various options that a customer or player can choose from in seeking repairs for the club, for example:

·           Installation of Grip

·           Installation of Grip plus Wraps

·           Installation of Grip plus Alter Length

·           Alter Lie Angle

·           Refurbish Iron

There is also an offer available such that if you are choosing customization service and at the same time buying a club from Callaway, you would qualify for a standard grip at no extra payment.  Also note that refurbishing means that the buffing and polishing of the sole and toe, plus repainting the scoring lines and refinishing the face, are all included in the order. One should also bear in mind that the work of restoring the club cannot be extended to cover the shafts or ferrules. They are expected to remain in the same condition they were before the refurbishing of the club head started. The best one can expect is for the club head to improve by two grades, at least. The Grip can be purchased and sent to the owner or they can be installed at the Callaway Golf pre-owned. An additional tape can also be added to the Grip to improve its size. Another point to note is that, currently, no other brands of golf clubs are refurbished here. No re-grooving or re-chroming can be done at present. Neither can the ones with metal woods or hybrid materials be refurbished.
